Custom software that helps your business run better.

I'm Elvis Páez, a systems engineer in Mérida, Venezuela. I build Odoo ERP systems, web applications, connected mobile apps and WhatsApp chatbots. I've been building software for businesses for almost 8 years.

Today I lead a team of 6 developers at Mastercore Sinapsys Global®, an ISO 9001:2015 certified software firm.

On the side I build my own products, like a chatbot platform for WhatsApp.

I work remotely, in Spanish and English, on UTC−4 time.

How I can help

From a single module to a complete product. Each service comes with an example of work I have already done.

ERP systems with Odoo

For companies that already use Odoo or want to start.

Custom modules, changes to standard features, reports and automations. Migrations from version 14 to 19 and tax localization.

Migrating Mastercore clients between Odoo versions.

Custom web applications

When no off-the-shelf software fits your process.

Admin dashboards, customer portals, multi-company platforms and websites with a blog.

Contesto and the STrading dashboards.

Connected mobile apps

For teams that work out in the field.

Apps for operators or sales reps, connected to your ERP or your own system, with up-to-date statuses and routes.

ATM, a logistics app connected to Odoo.

WhatsApp chatbots

For businesses that answer the same questions every day.

Menu and question bots, Meta-approved templates and broadcasts to contacts who gave their permission.

Contesto, my chatbot platform for WhatsApp Business.

Integrations and automation

To stop copying data by hand between systems.

Connecting systems through APIs, Telegram and WhatsApp bots, and AI where it actually saves work.

Tasky, which turns Telegram messages into tasks.

Technical leadership

For teams that already write code and need structure.

Technical design before coding, code review, team standards, estimation and mentoring.

I have led 6 developers at Mastercore since 2024.

Who I work best with

Three kinds of clients I already have experience with.

Companies that use an ERPThey run Odoo or another system, but need to adapt it, migrate it or connect it to something else.

Businesses that need their own systemNo commercial tool fits the way they work, and they prefer something built for them.

Development teamsThey already have developers, but need someone to set standards, review code and plan the work.

Recent projects

What the problem was, what I built and what ended up working.

Contesto

My own product, 2026. In development.

The problem. Small businesses answer the same questions on WhatsApp every day, by hand.

What I did. A platform to connect WhatsApp Business, design a menu bot on a visual canvas and send broadcasts. I handled the backend, the interface, the tests and the deployment.

The result. Several companies share one installation with their data kept apart, and no message is lost or processed twice. It is backed by 2,159 automated tests.

Built with NestJS, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis and Docker.

ATM

Logistics client, 2026. In testing.

The problem. Pickups were coordinated between customers, the office and drivers in the field, with no shared system.

What I did. A portal where customers request pickups and mark addresses on a map, a mobile app for the drivers, and the connection of both to Odoo.

The result. Every request follows a single flow, from the portal to delivery, and is recorded in Odoo.

Built with Odoo, Python and an Android mobile app.

Odoo migrations

Mastercore, since 2022. Ongoing work.

The problem. Clients on old Odoo versions with custom modules who needed to upgrade without losing data.

What I did. The technical design of each migration, review of custom and third-party modules, data migration and team coordination.

The result. Clients up to date on recent versions, from 14 to 19, with modules written so the next migration is simpler.

Built with Odoo, Python, PostgreSQL, XML, QWeb and OWL.

Tasky

My own product, 2026. In use.

The problem. Tasks come up at any moment, and adding them to a board takes too many steps.

What I did. A Trello-style board with a Telegram bot that understands messages written however they come out, using a language model.

The result. I write the task in Telegram and it lands in the right column, with a date and a client.

Built with FastAPI, React, SQLite, the Telegram API and a language model.

STrading

Client, 2019 to 2022.

The problem. A crypto trading signals platform needed a public presence and management dashboards.

What I did. The landing page with a blog, the admin dashboard for users, payments and statistics, and the subscriber dashboard.

The result. Subscribers see their statistics, referrals, payments and learning material in one place.

Built with Vue.js, Nuxt and JavaScript.

How I work

The same steps on every project, so you always know where things stand.

  1. First conversationYou tell me what you need and how your team works today.
You get: questions and an initial scope.
  2. Proposal and designI define what gets built, how and how long it takes, before writing any code.
You get: a proposal with scope and timeline.
  3. Development in stagesI deliver in parts you can see and test.
You get: progress you can review.
  4. Review and testingEverything goes through code review and testing before it is released.
    You get: a production-ready version.
  5. Delivery and supportRelease, training and support for any issues.

About me

I hold a Systems Engineering degree from Universidad de los Andes in Mérida, Venezuela. I started in 2019 as a frontend developer with Vue.js and Nuxt, building landing pages, dashboards and web applications.

In 2022 I joined Mastercore Sinapsys Global® to work with Odoo, and since 2024 I have been the technical lead of a team of 6 developers. On the side, I build my own products like Contesto and Tasky.

For a year I was a guest lecturer for Programming 1 at Universidad de los Andes. It left me with the habit of explaining technical things clearly, including to people who do not code.

Frequently asked questions

What size of project do you take on?
Anything from a single module or integration to a complete product. We can see whether it fits in the first conversation.
Which Odoo versions do you work with?
From 14 to 19, including migrations between them and data migration.
How is the price set?
After the first conversation I send a proposal with scope, timeline and cost. Nothing starts until it is clear what will be delivered.
